WHY OUT ISLAND?
Out Island was born from the collision of two problems that we felt needed better solutions. The first problem was that the Out Islands were devastated by Hurricane Dorian and COVID19.
While we thought about what we could do to help rebuild the Out Islands and protect their natural beauty for future generations, we discovered a second problem. It all started when we kept seeing our friends and neighbors in South Florida wearing lifestyle brands representing far away places. Places like Martha’s Vineyard, the Carolina coast, or California.
